As well as making me more trigger-happy, my new DSLR has also allowed me to become more experimental with what I shoot. For example I would never have taken this shot with my traditional SLR.

These are the islands tourist taxi's (tuk-tuk's) which are in abundance in Patong. I was returing to my car after taking some sunset pics (none of which are worth posting) and saw the opportunity for this shot. I took about 10 pics of tuk-tuks, motorbikes and cars passing a well lit bar, this one being the best.

I'm definitely going to try this type of shot again, I like the sense of motion and vivid colours. With this shot I did some post-processing (not too much), but one thing I wanted to achieve in Photoshop was to reduce the amount of white in the top half of the picture. I tried various adjustments, but couldn't get the result I wanted... maybe it's time for that tutorial book.
