I thought I would restart my photoblog with a "bang".  Here are some shots from the Legoland Windsor end-of-season firework display.  It had a Starwars theme, which grabbed my attention, and we planned to spend the day with my nephews browsing the park (mini-land being my favorite).

However, the nephews couldn't make it and I ended-up going round the park with my Mum & Dad instead.  That opened-up the option of my Dad and I bringing our camera gear, and we thought to give the firework display a go.  I read-up on a quick how-to from the excellent tutorials over at the DPS, and armed with tripods, cable release and cameras, we were set.

On the way to scout for a good location I bumped into an old imperial friend and in the flurry of packing our camera gear my Dad forgot his coat, which left him exposed to the elements until he finally gave in and purchased the lego mac.

You might be able to make-out the hundreds of kids waving their light sabers in the first of the shots.
