It wasn't planned, but today I ended up going to the Metropolitan Amateur Regatta at Dorney Lake.  My brother was helping-out there and being a scorcher day and all I headed on down.  I managed to snap away for a while so should be able to update my site for the next few days (it's been lacking some entries of late).

It's a two day rowing regatta with over 900 entries from as far away as South Africa.  I think the regatta has a bit of prestige as it is being held at Dorney Lake where the 2012 Olympic rowing will be done.
