My Grandfather, Sid Munday, recently passed away at a grand old age of 95.  He was quite the artist and his house was a testament to it.  Walls, doors, whole bathrooms were painted with landscapes, seascapes and flowers.  There were oil paintings, watercolours and wood carvings all around the rooms, and up until failry recently every family member would recieve a hand-painted birthday card each year.

This is one of his larger oil paintings which stood above the fireplace.  I photographed a fraction of his work after the funeral last week, these can be seen here.
